Wannabe trouble maker who's been told she's too sober; knows Alabamification when she sees it.
Tis amusing that those who strongly embrace the "property value preserving" ethos of HOAs seem unpreturbed by a lack of permits, plans, or taste when it comes to the nation's most visible residence.

Was in a mtg developing a 10 year strategic plan. A goal included work with public schools. Before I could stop myself, I asked the quite part out loud, will public schools exist in 10 years? If things remain unchanged, I'm thinking they won't.

Apparently, we missed the part of restoring the nation's greatness that included frequent funerals for infants and toddlers. The high infant mortality rates of Alabama and Mississippi seem to be a national goal now.

Today, police with pulled weapons rushed into my office yelling orders for me to leave my offfice. It was quickly id as a false threat, but none above me on my org chart line--and located in another building--has checked to see if I'm OK. That stings.

When are all those NRA members who proclaimed their constitutional right to high-powered weapons was for protecting the nation from totalitarians going to make their move? Oh wait, as we suspected, they were lying about that.

Would love to see evidence of unmarried women over 40 getting mail from their employer addressed as "Miss" instead of "Ms." or even "Mrs." Why is the marital status of females so critical to the business world?

Retirement is now a real option for me, and I've been doing my job quite well for 20+ yrs, so the new protocol of bi-monthly performance rvws for the benefit of my career is merely box-checking buearacracy theater. A waste of my patience, too.

It has become apparent that this tale wasn't among those that Mary Anne's 2nd son heard. That or he simply lacked any ability to make meaning of it.

Resisting 2 urges these days. Screaming & kicking fascists in the balls OR curling up in a ball of sobbing. One will get me sued; the other is pointless. So I will stick with dishing snark.

Were the nation's experts on designing grand-scale military parades fired back in January, or is the fact the U.S. might not have high-level expertise in planning dictator enhancing events at the root of the unexpected lack of spectacle for the DC parade?

Can quoting a senator's observation about all of us dying work for conversations regarding content for performance evals?

The notion of "bringing it to the people where they are" is a theme at this event. Totally agree, but doing so at "all the neighborhoods" level requires lots of people power. I'm thinking a ferris wheel in a $store parking lot to bring out the people might be less exhausting.

It stupifying that so many multi-divorced men are widely perceived as doing what it takes to establish a Xian nation. And not only are they divorced, they cheated on theirs wives. My brain hurts from the assault on logic.

Assumed required qualifications for Oval Office access: demonstrated a morality; ability to believe law isn't applicable to self; experience lying without tells; willingness to reject reality; embrace of sycophant existence; hate for the majority of people living in America.

Think back to 2008 or 2016. Recall those adamant 2A & 3%er friends, church buddies, and neighbors with their abiding concern about protecting the U.S. from possible tyranny and totalitarianism and who got their vote. Yet, as examples of tyranny abound in the nation, notice who ain't saying a peep.

Can't help but assume that buckets of $$$s to be made by placing "immigrants" in prisons is the primary reason we aren't seeing public executions of them yet. No doubt what is deemed "profits" will be redefined before long.

The same people who have fits over gvmt regs they think were overkill because "it was only one farmer dumping waste in a creek, why burden all farmers" are the ones applauding cutting all funding to arts, humanities, and libraries because a handful used $$s for something related to pronouns.

Funny how voters who are all supportive of renaming the body of water off our Southern coast--and cheering the violations of the 1st Amendent associated with that act--are the same folks saying that the installation has always been Fort Benning and the name should have never been changed. Smdh.

Don't know about anyone else, but I didn't have residing in a dysfunctional nation with a dystopian dictator, without even moving, on my to-do list. And I willingly live in Alabama, which has many human development index characteristics that are deemed limiting.
