I don't think it's going to change much in the next bunch of years. Mirrorless is still extra expensive to switch to.
Even though SLT is already kind of mirrorless.

Everything dark is green for some reason.
Feels more expired than my photos taken on expired Fuji Superia

The biggest spot shows up in photos sometimes. But it takes almost a minute with an uncovered lens for it to appear visibly.

Went through a bunch of info to find out what film this ACTUALLY is. Including buying one of them to inspect closely(sadly had to give profit to that guy).
The company owner refuses to give any detail and keeps saying marketing stuff.

The camera is made of a solid block of cast iron. It's hard to even hold for longer. Imagine how painful it is when you drop it with this wrist strap on.

But this camera is pretty nice. It can't do macro at all though.
And you have to use NiMh batteries to get more than 20 minutes of use. Any AA batteries last barely one minute before dying.

Today I wrote them a message about the package not being delivered even after SEVEN weeks.
They got so angry at Deutsche Post that they went back to writing in German.

There are some photos that went well, and some that really show the problem with lacking an original takeup spool. It sometimes slips and doesn't advance the film enough
Good ones first

This one is my fav.
The lens is a Zeiss Biotar 58mm f/2
Only needs the plastic takeup spool and it can be used again.
Already cleaned the viewfinder and most of the lens glass

Lime in pic 2
Picture 2 is taken on USA-made Fuji 200, basically Kodak Gold.

So here are three random photos I took with my Minolta Alpha 7xi
Film: mystery 27-frame film from a Fujifilm single-use camera.
Shared the film to the dxdatabase film database github. Could be Kodak Color Negative 400 judging by the barcode.

The real mechanism relies on the film perforations moving a gear that has a smooth motion and is attached to a cam lobe that resets the shutter at the end of its rotation.

There might be a reason why I wasted my time with it, I promise.
