The state of Oregon's only fully-funded MA programs in Spanish, French, Italian, and Romance Languages are no longer fully funded by decree in the middle of admissions season. No metric of diversity, success, equity, or effectiveness makes the slightest difference. RIP.

Academic colegas: what are your universities telling your international students? Ours told them not to leave the US for the time being. That's a problem for research plans, especially for the summer. What's the message going out elsewhere?
