Never forget that 75 million voters did not vote for Trump (vs the 77.3 million who did). It is a deathly narrow, entirely surmountable margin. There are more than 340 million people in the U.S. and, as of the 2024 presidential election, 173.85 million were registered to vote.

Our tax system was designed for revenues to grow along with the U.S. economy. But that's no longer the case. So how did the country get here?
