Won π₯³ my case against East Sussex County Council for the Β£600 new wheel I need on my car after driving down a literal ravine on my road. The hole is still there π€·ββοΈ incredible really.

Interesting. I often wonder what impact this has on the output of women vs men in the military history world. I reckon itβs often easier for men to smash out a book a year or do youtube live streams 6-9pm (children bedtime, dinner time etc) for example.
This will surprise no woman anywhere but interesting to see the academic take on the Invisible Load and how to measure it:

Very much personal preference. i gave max a good groom because we didnβt clip him this year and his coat grew really thick and is now shedding, causing him to itch a lot (we are clipping him in a few weeks!). The mud has also been so bad that itβs important to clean your horses legs!

So I have just read the chapter on British bombing of Germany in 1943 in @alanallport.bsky.social new book and it is one of the best pieces of historical writing I have ever read. Research, fine judgement and sensibility combined with style. History is fundamentally writing and this is a model.
