What happened, @nytimes.com? Why not stand by your original headline? Because it’s absolutely an accurate representation of this trash conversation.

To publish this at all should be a fireable offense - but to publish it as women’s rights are being decimated is deeply immoral, bordering on evil

BREAKING: Love is (still) love.

Across the country, from VA to CA, voters showed up for this week's election and clearly said they want an America that serves all its people, not just billionaires. As Ted Lasso would say, "I believe in hope. I believe in 'believe.'".

Thank you @merkley.senate.gov for holding the Senate floor overnight (and still going strong!) to shine a light on how Trump and the GOP are turning their backs on the American people.

105 years ago today the Women’s Suffrage movement achieved its goal with the passing of the 19th amendment. Today, Trump and his Cabinet flirt with the very people and ideas that would have Women’s right to vote destroyed.

DC is as safe as any city. I lived there for 12 years until just recently, and not one reason I left was because of crime. I lived in the same apartment in NE and walked the same streets—usually alone, sometimes late at night, and always without incident.

Thank you @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social for showing us that there are decent politicians left in Congress, despite how vile the GOP and current administration behave. Today's vote was a travesty against justice. You give me reason to hope that good trouble will bring good change.

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington National Cemetery. "Here rests in honored glory an American soldier known but to God."
I can't accept that this is the America they fought and died for. We need to do better.

RIP Justice David Souter. As he, O’Connor, and Kennedy warned, overturning Roe has resulted in “profound and unnecessary damage to the court’s legitimacy, and to the nation’s commitment to the rule of law.”

Scaffolding and masking at SCOTUS feels symbolic of the current US relationship to justice.
