I get what this article is trying to do but framing improving cyclist and pedestrian safety as their responsibility (instead of the motorists that hit and kill them) annoys me. That being said, I do wear a light clipped to my shirt when walking at night. www.npr.org/2025/09/25/n...

My cat snuggled with me this morning while we were laying in bed and she decided she wanted to climb up and lay on my stomach. It's the first time my former street cat has done this (she's very clear that she's not a lap cat) and it just felt like such a huge and trusting moment.
