I volunteer at a local food shelf, and the workers there expect an increase in clients due to the upcoming loss of SNAP benefits. Please ask your friends to donate to local food shelves. It doesn't cover all their needs, but it helps.

I continue to pray for the people of Israel. Many in the country are planning to participate in nationwide rallies tomorrow, asking their government to adopt policies that lead to a freeing of the hostages.

With regards to my last post, scrambling jets may not be unusual in recent weeks, but now Poland plans to increase the size of the country’s armed forces to half a million soldiers and to provide military training to every adult male. I want to reiterate what a serious situation this is.

NATO scrambling war planes in response to attacks on Ukraine and France considering the use of its nuclear weapons is an alarming increase in tensions. I ask all to pray and reflect on their relationship to God. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

I am praying for the Jewish people in Israel. I pray that their leaders do not bring them into a new phase of war that will result in a much larger loss of life.
