So the living room is finally clean and organized. Our Home is put together imo because of this. It's liveable in the purest sense. Additionally partner has been Putting In The Work to find a job ASAP and might have a promising lead on 1 that pays better than the 1 that lied abt hiring him. Praying.

Got the final tote from the move back in August unpacked. On the same day my partner went for his first day of a new job only to find out they didn't contact him about the position being cut due to mass layoffs within the company. More than a little conflicted about how to feel right now.

I'm gonna miss having a Christmas Tree this year. There's no room for one right now, we can't afford one anyway, and we have kittens to worry about... But this is the first time I've felt safe and at home in years and I can't put one up... It's doing some damage emotionally.
