Tooltips!!
Now I can finally give hints to what everything does anywhere in the game, and it's pretty easy to implement. The players get hints, I get more creative freedom. It's a win-win 😋

I am working on the "Forge" which lets you combine attachments you find in-game into better ones, recycle unwanted ones and also *craft new weapons (this is still an idea). Here is the WIP:

I learnt how to create custom tools inside Unity and also learnt more on rich text stuff. I'm not great with colors but at least it's a bit more readable now.

Here's an improved Attribution screen (right) compared to the previous plain text one (left).

Seems super simple & probably is for more experienced devs. But this took me way too long, and I still have a few more adjustments to make.

You will now be able to see what each attachment does and what the base stats of the weapon were without much hassle.

Been a bit busy. But here's what I'm working on:
Primary weapons now expand on to a bigger screen and lets you edit and visualize different stats of each weapon and attachments.

I'm halfway there.

I added attachments before, here's how you get them.
Completing random events in a run drops attachment chips. These are of random rarity and are separate for different weapons. Mix & match them for a customized playstyle!

Next up: Attachment fusions

I changed the Equipment Menu UI for more clarity. There are more plans for the empty spaces too.

Plus, the menu is livelier now thanks to the space visualized in the background ✨
