Time traveller. Sells beautiful old things and scans magazines.
Farewell beautiful Terence Stamp. Never better than running around in a pink onesie in The Mind of Mr Soames. (Well, not until Priscilla came along anyway!)

Beautiful photo of Diana Rigg that I'd not seen before, with lovely Alec McCowen (with whom she was appearing in The Misanthrope). Vogue, March 15th 1973.

"Is that badge for sale?"

"Well, it says Euro Tunnel so I wasn't going to put it out but OK. 50p"

"Thanks!"

When I was young, my mum bought old Sixties girls annuals in charity shops for me to read (and that explains a lot!). I was absolutely obsessed with this article, definitely the first time I was aware of Marianne Faithfull. Farewell sweet lady.

Overwhelmed by the bounty in Norwich's charity shops, I leave with nothing.

Please lift by the head not the hair, thanks.

Still wish I'd had a spare £110 and a car that day.

Absolutely glorious old internal telephones spotted in a charity shop today. I want to know where they came from, who Mr Webb, Mr Stanley and 'Pardoe' were. And why the gramophone had its own number.

I don't think it was pain that made him so great, I think painting brought him whatever happiness he had.

The beautiful visionary artist David Lynch is dead at 78. And the malignant troll Rupert Murdoch is still alive at 93. There are no words and no justice in this world.

I like to pretend Gilmore Girls was a cutesy David Lynch side project.

Only last year we were into the 30s and 40s and next... fashions will take us on to the 50s. It’s going to be a sexy cutie-pie look, the teeny-boppiest, greatest bubble-blowing clothes yet.

You know, I'd love to get comfortable in this app, but the fact that I had an explicit content label slapped on me for no good reason the other day is making me feel very unnerved. Do I have a hateful stalker or is it AI moderation in practice. @moderation.bsky.app have so far ignored my appeals.
