Gazing at the tide creeping in at Langstone yesterday morning was like listening to a slowly evolving minimalist piece of music.

When mum went to boarding school (age 7), her father sent her a weekly postcard. When I went to London, she did the same. I’m looking forward to reigniting the tradition when my girl starts at Liverpool Uni next week with these beautiful #wildcards.
