If you're wondering why a large chunk of ostensibly left-of-center pundits are waging war on environmental protections in the form of an "abundance agenda," it's because Silicon Valley has quietly developed a culture of rampant pollution.

The second, enacting his agenda, requires a successful state-level campaign pressuring Gov. Kathy Hochul to raise taxes on the wealthy.

Strangely enough, blocking offshore wind and spreading misinformation about green energy, as Trump has been doing, isn’t helping a single voter pay her utility bill. That's one reason Democrats won big this week.

So here's Andrew Cuomo reacting to Maria Bartiromo wondering if Mamdani will "change the look of New York" and have Muslim women "completely covered up," telling her that Mamdani "doesn't understand New York culture" because he has "dual citizenship" and "he's a citizen of Uganda."

Trump’s Crusade Against Critics Is So Much Worse Than “Cancel Culture”
The liberal cancel culture of yesteryear is indeed regrettable. But let’s not succumb to bothsidesism.

I was not a fan of cancel culture. At the time I called it "You're Fired" liberalism, arguing that it was Trumpian, unworthy of the left. That said, what Trump is doing now is much worse and it's not even close:

yes, i am confused about why Trump posting that video is not the top story across all platforms. Violent, juvenile, stupid and utterly lacking in class. Seems like something people should know about.
Media outlets who refuse to describe in plain terms what the president did because they find it objectionable are lying to their audiences and running cover for the president. It's as simple as that.
The president of the United States posted a video of him defecating on the American people. Many in my profession normalized it. This is a big reason why we are where we are.
