Ugh I was startled awake by the sprinklers of all things and haven't been able to get back to sleep. It would be nice if I could get a full night's sleep for once.

I think the world is trying to send me a message that its not an outside day. First I go for my walk and its way too hot and humid for it and now I figure i'll go outside and write enjoy a nice sunset. Not one but TWO giant crickets jumped into my bra and I shrieked like a scared little girl. rip me

Y'know for being diagnosed with CPTSD and the election results happening in the same one week span I am doing surprisingly okay. Don't get me wrong I am simmering under the surface but I've got what I can control in a place that I am okay, and that'll have to be enough for now.

I'd really rather my first post here not be after the upsetting results of the election but here we are. I am saving every last penny and should the absolute worst of what is expected to happen start to rear its ugly head i'll at least be able to flee this state.
