I SOLVED Deltarune chapter 5 #deltarune #deltarunetheory
Bone meal theory: Papyrus has been suspiciously absent thus far in Deltarune, and the sound of his bones has even disappeared. Many theorize that Papyrus will be revealed to be the knight, but I believe something else is going on here… Gerson hints that Asgore will be very relevant to Chapter 5, with some jealousy-related conflict. This likely has to do with Toriel and Sans' newfound connection, as we have seen that Asgore has been trying to rekindle things with Toriel. Considering that Asgore has been sneaking around and doing some investigating, it can be inferred that he knows more about the goings-on of this town than you'd think... Asgore likely knows - or WILL know - about what's going on between Toriel and Sans. But what will he do about it? He can't directly get revenge on Sans because he'd be caught too easily (with Sans out in the open, it’d be obvious if he disappeared), and Asgore has already been severely punished before (having been removed from the police force). But what about Sans' shut-in brother? Does anyone even know he exists? He'd be easy to kidnap. And useful, too; after all, Asgore is a gardener who cherishes his flowers. and what helps plants grow? Bone meal. Asgore has kidnapped Papyrus in order to harvest his bones to create bone meal. By killing Papyrus and taking his bones, Asgore would achieve 2 things: revenge on Sans, and good health for his flowers. But that's not all. Asgore hopes to win over Toriel (and bring the family back together) by giving her flowers and getting himself back on his feet. With the fertilizer from Papyrus' bones, Asgore's flower shop will flourish. That is to say, Asgore will be using Sans' own brother to best him in the battle for Toriel's affection - tearing apart Sans' family to repair his own. What sweeter revenge could there be? Bone meal theory would explain why the trousle of Papyrus' bones disappeared, as well as the jealousy theme of Chapter 5 and its connection to gardens and inferno (the fire is for steaming the bones). Further supporting evidence: When one thinks of "bone meal," one is probably reminded of Minecraft. There are many connections between Deltarune and Minecraft. In Minecraft, the way the player acquires bone meal is by killing a skeleton and then crafting bone meal from the bones it drops. This is a direct parallel to what Asgore is undoubtedly planning. Crap (or manure) is another type of fertilizer. There is undeniably a connection between Deltarune, Minecraft, and fertilizer. Bosses in Deltarune notably have missing or obscured eyes. This is just like the secret boss of Minecraft: Herobrine. [Screenshot of a Toby Fox Tweet in which he states he only plays Minecraft on his own server.] Toby Fox confirms he has played Minecraft and knows about bone meal. It's incredible how every line of text Toby writes, and even posts he makes online, have hidden depth that reveals insights into the characters and lore. Even silly dialogue about Minecrap foreshadows the dark truth of Asgore's twisted mind - the flower man, trapped in asylum.

Character design for the mascot of a game a friend and I are making!

The game’s inspired by Project DIVA, so I tried using triangle/square/X/O shapes in her design since those are the buttons on Project DIVA Arcade!

She likes to go to the arcade after school to play DDR and dreams of being an idol

Her school uniform is a sailor suit with a skirt, knee-high socks, and sneakers. Her idol outfit also has a sailor collar but no ribbon or sleeves. The sneakers are high-tops and the skirt has buttons at the top. She also has cut off arm sleeves that begin at her elbows (like Hatsune Miku). In both outfits she has triangular hair ties and a cross hair clip. With her school outfit, she wears her hair in two low loop shapes. With her idol outfit, her hair is clipped up higher in two loops on either side of her head.
