Brandenburg Tor.

Possibly Berlin's most famous landmark, it is a must-see for all visitors. Formerly a symbol of division during the Cold War, it is now a national symbol of peace and unity.

Commissioned by King Frederick William II, it was constructed between 1788 and 1791.

The much visited Whitby Abbey. Originally a Christian monastery, then a Benedictine Abbey, today
it is a place of pilgrimage for goths, and fans of the novel Dracula; the Count came ashore at the headland, and ran up the 199 steps to the graveyard in the shadow of the abbey.

I'm a little bit late with this week's flashback photo, but on the 1st June 2019, myself and the young lady went to a Rammstein concert at the RCDE stadium in Barcelona (home of Espanol).

The gig was absolutely astonishing, but you do meet the most wonderfully strange people 😄
