I’m visiting Avignon and I’m shocked at how much more affordable the food is compared to Canada. It’s such a treat not to have to break the bank to eat good food. Here’s a random photo of tomatoes from the local market.

I’ve created a win-win situation for myself: if these pre-loved pieces sell at our event this weekend, I’ll be happy; if they don’t, I’ll be happily wearing them.

I bought a Birks purse off Marketplace this week. The seller told me all about its story: she bought it 20 years ago in my hometown of Saint John, NB. We had a great chat. Our interaction is a great example of why I love purchasing secondhand (and why my introvert husband still prefers Amazon).
