So, Yorkshire Three Peaks, almost completed yesterday. When the mountain team you’re with tells the group to stop due to concerns around safety, it’s game over. Whilst the rest of the country seemed to enjoy a heatwave, we had torrential rain, gale force winds, hail and zero visibility fog!

It’s Miss Mollie Dog’s birthday tomorrow. I was conned into purchasing birthday presents (?!? 😜🙈) for her. I’m at work very late tomorrow and so I suggested that we give them to her tonight. @getnorthern.bsky.social then promptly said, ‘We can’t as it’s not her birthday until tomorrow!’ 🙄😂🤦🏻♀️

Ugh, I need a new book! There are times when starting a new book is infinitely exciting and you can’t wait to dive in. Others, like now, it’s with trepidation as the last one was good, you didn’t want it to end, but also the choice of picking a new one can be so hard. 😂🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️📚📚📚

My 16 year old daughter has just informed me that my outfit is trendy, flattering and makes me look younger 🥰🥰 In that ridiculous, British way, instead of basking in the compliment, I’m now thinking, ‘Do I normally look fat’ & ‘Are my outfits normally frumpy and old-fashioned’ 😂😂😳😳🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
