Mum got da bit carried away and put up 3 trees this year. One in the kitchen, one in the dining room and the big tree in the lounge room. She’s a big fan of fairy lights.💖

Such very sad news. Cilla was an integral part of the school and loved her sun puddles and snoozing in the library. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all the small people, staff and those who loved Cilla 💔

Oh my. This popped up in mum’s FB feed as a post she made 8 years ago. Mum went on a tiramisu bender we guess. Most was for a family bbq and the rest she froze. She likes to top her tiramisu with grated chocolate Flake bar instead of cocoa and uses a 50/50 Marscapone and whipped cream mix. 🤤

Mum works in a large store in Australia and today, Remembrance Day, at 11am, all work stopped as The Last Post played throughout the store. Customers and staff stood in respectful silence. When the world feels unsettled, it is these moments that touch the heart in gratitude. We shall remember them.

The bears are helping me declutter the cottage. I say fair enough lads, it’s your clothes & bear buddies overflowing into every available space. So naturally it’s my stuff that’s being donated to make space. I’m drawing a line though, their car is definitely not coming back inside.
