New model, the SPAD A.2. A "pulpit" fighter with a compartment in front of the prop for the gunner. Although mostly used by the French, you'll be able to unlock some French designs via the tech tree. #gamedev #indiedev

Well, this week Windows 10 decided to eat itself and brick my computer. Luckily everything backed up and I didn't lose any files. So instead of gamedev I've been spending my time reinstalling everything. Many funs!

I should be writing code but instead I'm playing around with renders. Can't bring myself to the task of writing a tech tree right now. At least they can be used for loading screens or something.

Not the most productive use of my time but decided to model this oddball for the game. Probably won't even get used by players much, but it'll be fun to see a few of these showing up on patrols and adds variety to the enemy planes early game.

Really wanna add this oddball design, the Gotha G.1, to my game just because it's so different and interesting, but it might not serve any actual purpose in game.
Would be fun to model though.

Hey all, first post here. I'm working on a strategy game where you play as a squadron commander set in the early days of air combat in WWI. It's a mix of turn based base management and top down RTS style missions. Here's a render I made with some of the models I'm making for the game.
