Got laparoscopic surgery the other day. Mom flew up and has been taking care of me. She made us hot chocolate and taught me to use my new sewing machine tonight. It feels good.

I haven’t made resolutions in years because I usually just forget about them after a few weeks. But I think this year I want to try to stop hiding from the world so much. I want to be confident in myself. I want to not be afraid to take up space.
