Critical thinking is a lost art - prove me wrong. Zero tolerance for gaslighters, hypocrites, & people who take advantage of other people. Toto, I've a feeling we're not in the USA anymore. Graduate degree from a top public school. Always learning.

A reminder to the news media: “conflicting accounts” is what you say BEFORE the incontrovertible video evidence appears. After that, your job is to ask why one side is lying, not to repeat the lie and pretend no one knows the truth.

"In 1874 psychiatrist Henry Maudsley argued that any attempt 2 educate women in medicine after puberty would injure their reproductive functionality..." Sounds ridiculous. But we know there are people in this administration that absolutely believe it.

A product that works perfectly fine without AI (and is less annoying) should not have AI for the sake of saying "we have AI".

Author mentions beneficial uses in medical research, diagnostics & treatment. Overdiagnoses is an issue; human judgment is still necessary.

“One Special Boy”
Just stop it. Stop treating him as One Special Boy & just draw the line. It's illegal. It's unconstitutional. It's wildly endangering national security. It should end his presidency. We don't need cost/benefit analyses & arguments about persuasion. Enough.
“Lebensraum: is it prudent fiscal policy?”

🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Again, one thing I was completely wrong about is that I believed there was a baseline level of professional pride & integrity below which supposedly serious journalists would not sink in the face of the far right authoritarianism.
