The double standard is infuriating. Picture a flood of daily articles in the media trashing women: “Women are the problem!” “What’s wrong with women?!” mostly penned by men. The backlash would be swift and fierce. It simply wouldn’t be tolerated.

Did you know that the suicide rate for boys and girls is the same until 10 years old? But at 10-14, boys become nearly 2x more likely to die by suicide. At 15-19, they become 3.3x more likely. By 20-24, they are 4.6x more likely. 💔 Addressing this should be a top priority!

I’m so proud of Governor Wes Moore of Maryland. He recently delivered his State of the State Address and he made a brave commitment to address the needs of boys and men, and the crowd stood and clapped in support. I hope more leaders will follow his example and take a stand!
