Well, 2025 is about done and dusted and despite quite a few fun distractions along with a healthy dose of globetrotting this year, I managed to complete some models here and there that I was pleased with:
The Gaslands gods unequivocally compelled me to purchase this GT40 when I saw it on an endcap display the other day…

It’s a terrific game with a fast moving turn structure, wonderfully inviting for painting and modeling, and costs practically nothing for your models if you so choose.

Magnificent

OK I saw this in a display today and thought of @wei-yau.bsky.social . I’m seeing you make this into a Team Scarlett war rig by adding a pirate schooner floating in the tub.

That sounds like a perfect Gaslands game.

Welcome. It’s a really fun game system and the modeling aspect is so wide open it’s terrific.
February 10, 2026 at 5:17 PM
Particularly great, I would say.
February 10, 2026 at 5:16 PM
Well, how about an after action report?

Robert E Howard and Conan were my first and formative exposure to the fantasy/S&S genre. Today, I am really enjoying @liamsharp.bsky.social Conan (SS of Conan #11$ ) Liam simply stated, renders Conan pretty much precisely as I have imagined the character for 50 years. The art really speaks to me.

A cold rainy weekend was perfect for quality hobbying. While underway on some more Space Gits, I banged out some simple bitz that create build options for the Waaagh Rig as well as other Orky heavy trukks that are in the queue. First, a basic Krumpin’ Dekk, and a 5th wheel weapon mount.

That’s brilliant. Easy to cut and shape.

This is excellent. I really like your weathering. Is that a bit of fine metal screen that you snipped out?
February 8, 2026 at 8:13 PM
Thank you! For me, it’s pretty much the same as painting miniatures, ie same brushes and acrylic paints followed by a hard clear acrylic top coat. When possible, I add the art to artificial nails & then attach. Here is Princess Jasmine flanked by an Ork Kill Team WIP. 😄🏁
February 8, 2026 at 7:58 PM
That is a most excellent feeling, I would suggest.
February 8, 2026 at 9:41 AM
And the reverse is also true,eg Ive been painting miniatures for decades and started painting my wife’s nails only recently.

We also have this big flaming beacon which is fun to pass around…
February 7, 2026 at 8:54 AM
We use a lil’ doodad to pass and identify who has pole position.
February 7, 2026 at 8:45 AM
I saw this announcement a while back and I honestly could not believe anyone would give this guy money to start a bank. The business plan is pure fancy sounding nonsense and buzzwords.
February 6, 2026 at 11:17 PM
Nice.
February 6, 2026 at 7:19 AM
Thank you! 🙏
February 6, 2026 at 1:54 AM
I’m not sure I have figured out how to use drag racers TBH.
February 6, 2026 at 1:53 AM
While I acknowledge the appropriateness of this, we already have the “Waaaaagghh Rig” and Enzo’s surname is FerrarOrk, so we dare not deviate from the canonic lore.
February 5, 2026 at 7:49 PM
OK that’s pretty cool
February 5, 2026 at 6:56 PM
Grazie Mille!
