#primarytakeaway My primary takeaway from this video, in preparation for SME1, is that AI will guide me based on how selective with my prompt and information. AI isn't going away, so it's important to adapt to the changes and use AI to try things, as responses are endless.

#joesopinion Joe thinks that both co-creating and co-thinking are beneficial to our success, as creativity allows AI to give a wide variety of responses. He mentions that prompts are limitless.

#helpfulassistant Joe mentions that it will be helpful as the more information we give to AI, it will feed us a better response to guide us to completing SME1.

#joeandashley You mentioned that even the people who created these things don't even understand how it works...I'm just confused as to how they can create things that they are unaware of how it works.

#joeandashley There is so much brand new information from AI I'm learning from this. I think that the coolest part of AI is that you can include as much information as you want into GPT and it will generate responses based on the smallest amount of information or the most precise response.

#joeandashley I found it pretty interesting that whatever you search or do online automatically puts you in the AI World.

#atmospherestudy Is there a reason I tend to understand and relate the audio to real-life things?
February 9, 2026 at 1:06 AM
#atmospherestudy I would say I definitely listened to this from a more personal perspective in how I interpreted the audio. Since there were no words, there was no effect on how I perceived information.
February 9, 2026 at 1:05 AM
#atmospherestudy 7:57-8:15 I am unsettled with the intense music change and what exactly the reason for this was. Listening to the intense music pick up allowed me to infer that there was a change.

#knickerbockerglory there are so many different sounds in this second section. It is giving me a headache with all the noise.

#knickerbockerglory WHAT IS HAPPENING IN KNICKERBOCKERGLORY 2????
February 9, 2026 at 1:00 AM
#knickerbockerglory hear utensils and pans at the restaurant.
February 9, 2026 at 12:59 AM
#knickerbockerglory the music from about 6-6:45 reminds me a lot of the beginning of a war movie showing scenes before it begins.
February 9, 2026 at 12:58 AM
#knickerbockerglory the background noises from 5:10-5:16 is giving beach vibes when the waves hit the shore.
February 9, 2026 at 12:56 AM
#knickerbockerglory the sounds of the birds chirping remind me of waking up on a summer morning.

#hwa2 #dangerous I feel like I am becoming more and more dangerous as I am becoming more and more aware of how I am scrolling on technologies and realizing things that I didn't notice before.
February 9, 2026 at 12:48 AM
#hwa2 #donetome After HWA2 and TMITM, I feel like I have definitely tried to focus more on what I do on my cell phone and gain more awareness of how I use it.
February 9, 2026 at 12:45 AM
#hwa2 #whatmcluhanwants He wants us to understand that media isn't just content, it is what it is doing to our form and how we act, think, and behave in society.
February 9, 2026 at 12:42 AM
#hwa2 #flippingdewey McLuhan flips John Dewey's quote not to dismiss him, but to show fragmentation happens to us all.
February 9, 2026 at 12:40 AM
#hwa2 #doubledewey The two Deweys mentioned are Melvil Dewey and John Dewey. Melvil invented the Dewey Decimal System. John believed that the decimals don't describe us, although he got caught in the fragmentation game.
February 9, 2026 at 12:37 AM
#hwa2 #mediafunhouse This DEFINITELY resonates with me. This is basically what happens every time I try to go to sleep while on my phone in bed and end up scrolling for hours.

#hwa2 #amateurvsexpert
What stuck with me most about this was that amateurs notice what the expert has learned to ignore. Amateurs understand the anti-environment and are able to process any hidden information. I would rather be an amateur and be more creative in how I go about my life.
February 9, 2026 at 12:29 AM
#hwa2 #antienvironmentquestions Media environment is the everyday life things that we tend to "ignore" that we are doing. Anti-environments force us to understand how and why we are acting this way.
EX directly from VIDEO: phone turning greyscale or us watching how TikTok works ON TIKTOK.
February 9, 2026 at 12:25 AM
#hwa2 Does McLuhan's definition of an anti-environment relate to the idea that they allow us to open up to new ideas in how we process information?
February 9, 2026 at 12:16 AM
#hwa2 #buildthenotice The medium in my life that's so normal, it disappears is my phone and specifically texting. Every minute of every day, I am on my phone texting someone on iMessage or Snapchat. I can create a lockdown timer on my phone to limit my screen time.
