Ever Maiden's on sale now but the dlsite page's region-blocked. Kinda regret not grabbing Ever Maiden earlier now. At least it is eventually coming out on steam (I assume) so there's that at least.

I'm aiming to draw more than before. At least doodle more even if I don't complete stuff. So far, there's definitely a change.

I didn't write anything but I did give winging it a go and I made very rough drafts for a comic. The story isn't very good. It's more just a series of events really. But hey, at least it made me do something rather than look up writing tips for the hunredth time.

I think I need to just wing it first because my biggest problem in making stuff is that I try to plan things first but that just leaves me indecisive. If I just wing it instead, I'll at least have something and I can decide whether I like it or not later.

I think I'll give Resonance another try during the weekend but the cutscene only having the male MC kinda gives me the vibe that they don't really care about the female MC. The JP account posted a comic with both versions of the conductor so there's that at least.

I finally progressed in PTN's story so hopefully this means I can get caught up before the anniversary event. It's nice to reach a point where I just play the game casually and use the free time I have for other things instead.

Watched the Duet Night Abyss livestream and the script they gave the voice actors for it seemed to be mostly decent so I'm feeling positive about the actual game's script being okay too.

I think I've finally reached the point where checking twt actually makes me feel worse bcs of how argumentative I see ppl be on there. On the bright side, this might mean I spend less time scrolling and more time doing other stuff.

So, like, I did get the scene more or less done (minus details) but it just doesn't look very pixely. Guess I'll have to try diff dimensions and see how I like that.

Every time the weekend comes, I end up doing almost nothing and it frustrates me. I can only keep trying new strategies and routines though. At least I drew a bunch today.

Just came to the realization that even if something I want to read isn't licensed in English and I can't read it in the original language, I can try looking up if it has a JP translation. Crazily late realization.

I think I might refocus (was I ever focused?) on pixel art again. I do still want to get better at 'normal' drawing but pixel art is just way easier for me to get something I like the look of.
I could try one of those bigger canvas sizes next time as a compromise.
