So a DC-based colleague sent me this -- but apparently to get alerts from the White House you have to agree to *promotional and marketing messages notifications and customer service communications*
Are other people seeing this? This seems like an obviously illegal use of public data.

Storytime: when I was in high school our French club created an abridged version of The Sound Of Music for a statewide language day. I played in the pit orchestra for the production. Honorary French club member because I was taking Spanish! I loved that production! #TCMParty #SoundOfMusic
