Thank you to the Honorable Kevin Smith, Massachusetts land court judge, for visiting our Intro to Law classes at Lexington High School and taking questions from students. It turns out that land court has lots of drama, And it was very interesting to hear about it!

A million thanks to Discovering Justice for our Introduction to the Law field trip to the Moakley Federal courthouse in Boston today. We were able to meet with United States judge Allison Burroughs and observe a plea bargain in an interstate theft and conspiracy case. ⚖️👩‍⚖️

Today, every LHS 11th grader spent the day becoming more financially literate. Thank you to our teachers who planned the Credit for Life fair and the many school and community volunteers. Special shout out to the LHS PTO and the LEF for supporting this endeavor!

Big thanks to Detectives Hankins & Sullivan for leading our Intro to Law classes on a comprehensive tour of the new Lexington Police headquarters. It was so interesting and helpful to hear about new technologies, best practices regarding safety, and career paths.

Syracuse U economics professor emeritus Don Dutkowsky visited our Syracuse University Project Advance (SUPA) personal finance class this afternoon. This is our first year having students take this course for dual enrollment credit at LHS. It's going great!
