Hell no. We weathered 2008 far better than the USA because our banking system was separate, and well regulated -- and trump has stated he wishes to deregulate the US system further including breaking up the FDIC which insures people's accounts.

I have no doubt considering Elon's online behaviour, that his salute was just trolling. The first reaction of almost all the conservative viewers of Elon's Nazi salute was to either cheer or laugh.

Many right wingers think it is a game to own the libs. In some ways that is worse than actually being a racist. This means that they would employ something as vile and antihuman as nazi symbolism for something as trivial as annoying people.

So, with Danielle Smith's latest changes to health care, if my glaucoma changes again in my senior years and I need frequent exams to keep it in check, I'll have to pay money for that, or just let my eyeball explode and go blind. Meanwhile the UCP just gave themselves raises again.

I think the reason why some Trumpers are such poor winners regarding the election and are still raging about the Libs is that they expected the Libs to just roll over when Trump won and are confused and angry that they didn't - because that means the libs don't their recognize power.

Anyone in Calgary subscribe to an ugly produce box? I was thinking a small box might help break my veggie rut and bring in more variety and possibly save money, but I'd like a second opinion.

Uggh. I have LED bulbs I got at IKEA over a decade ago that are still going but all the ones I've bought in the past 3 years from any source, die in a year or two maximum. I know they can build them better, I have proof in the ones that are still going. Fuck you, Noma GE, Sylvania & Phillips.

Does it ever seem weird that antivax, raw milk, conspiracy weirdos shifted from the left to right? The tinfoil hat beliefs were one of the reasons I used to consider myself a moderate, not left wing, when I was younger even though I was in every other way, left wing.
