I’m here to post about my conlangs and read about yours! You can also find me at https://levunalangs.tumblr.com/ and https://youtube.com/@levunalangs
Today’s Valya word is hnuhnulu, meaning “bat!”

Lba kibgha fu sika hnuhnulu nwi, ba tu kngiva tni mu nitya zaku.

Hundreds of bats live under that bridge, and they fly out at sunset.

Valya!? Again!!??

Yes, I am returning to working on a *spoken* conlang! Imagine that.

I’m easing back into daily-ish Valya posts with a quick translation, which you can read more about at www.tumblr.com/levunalangs/...

Guess what! It’s a new conlang!

This is Amnenas, my new musical #conlang — and a submission for the Cursed Conlang Circus! I had a lot of fun with this video but it was also very confusing and (given the deadline) pretty stressful. I just made it in time!

After no conlang posts in over a month (!) here’s a new post for a new language! It’s a “cursed” musical conlang, involving harmonies strange enough that they’re basically unplayable on any instrument. As far as I know, anyway.

This month’s #FiatLingua is by @quothalinguist.bsky.social. Jessie has revisited her very first language experiment as a young child—mixing up the sounds of English—to see if she could start with a similar premise but create a full-fledged #conlang out of it. fiatlingua.org/2025/07/

I’m starting a word-of-the-day series for Valya! (Maybe sometimes another language will sneak in.)

Today’s word is ngumbahaza, “dandelion”—literally, “little sun-cloud.”

More than five months later, we have a complete N'asibómmó version of this! If you're at all interested in the process of making these words check out the Solo Bouba streams on the channel.

It’s a new, short Sdefa video! This one is a response/thank you to someone who sent me a very sweet message after watching the Introduction to Sdefa video from last month.

This says “You’re hearing Sdefa, a musical #conlang that I made.” It’s not recorded yet so you can’t actually hear it, but I will do that soon—I’m starting to work on a short video introduction to the language!

I set up a youtube account for conlang things!

www.youtube.com/@levunalangs

It’s still empty but not for long; there’ll be short video on my leg of the LCC11 relay, and I’m working on a longer Valya feature video! I’ve also got a few Sdefa videos ready to go, though I may do a bit of editing.

This is a little sample of the conlang I’ve been working on lately! It’s purely graphical and nonlinear, and uses color to show the relationships between words. This translates to:

“A person said, ‘Do you see a cat?’ I said, “I don’t see a cat.’”

Here’s a silly little text/piece of music in my #conlang Sdefa! It translates to “I’m very tired but I want to write in Sdefa, so I’m writing.”

Here’s the longest Valya text so far! It’s a fictional child’s journal, so I decided to write it out on paper as if a child had written it. Only some of the mistakes were intentional!

You can find a full transliteration and translation here: www.tumblr.com/mindutme/774...

Here is the Sdefa translation I previewed earlier—it’s a translation of the titular poem from The Left Hand of Darkness! I can’t post the video here because it’s longer than a minute, so a link will have to do. There’s a lot more info in the tumblr post!

It’s time for a new Sdefa translation! If you’re a new follower (hi!) Sdefa is a musical conlang. Each root word is a sequence of four or five specific pitches, and grammatical information is conveyed...
