Just because something turned 10 years old doesn't mean it should be attempted to be put to obsoletion. D&D 5e was fine as is before that massive overhaul.
Making a book of primarily reprints was a terrible idea. I would rather new content than a rebrand of 5e

Having two classes with the same name for every class makes D&D 5e more complicated than it needs to be. Same with spells, especially the ones that barely change between versions.

Even though I love D&D, I don't like the way WotC has been lately.
I've gotten really irked by the fact that they needed to overhaul every class especially when that was already handled better with Tasha's Optional Features which wasn't that long before
