I was trying to read a self-help book for how to combat being extremely shy/socially anxious (which is me, hi) while listening to Enya and it put me to sleep 😭 Not that the book was boring or anything, I'm just tired, and reading/relaxing music doesn't help.

Still shouldn't be asking or requiring anyone to be send in something as personal as an ID. Period. It's just an invitation for having very personal info leaked and identities stolen. There shouldn't be a way to even send anything in.

Okay nevermind, I added one more commonplace book to my 5 already. This will be specifically for coping skills, things to remember/try/do when it comes to mental health, etc. It's small and portable so that's why I chose it.
Also, Mario jumps up and down when you move the book up or down. Cute! 🥰

Tbh it's funny to me when I see powerful cishet men who are like CEOs, ministers, politicians, ect get caught being a literal pedo while running things/programs that have l kids in them...but we're suppose to believe gay and trans people are the real problem and pedos towards kids. 💀

Went to my first occupational therapy appointment. It went good but it was more question answering than actual work. Also I know the girl was trying to make me comfortable but she kept pushing stim toys and plushies at me to fidget with...like I'm too socially anxious to do any of that 😭😭😭

I got all my commonplace books set up and ready to go. I have a main one for mostly everything, one for research/topics/ideas to write about on the go, one for self-help/therapy stuff, one for hobby activities/logs, and one for research/studying. And yes, I really do have that many unused journals 😭

I was watching someone talk about analog hobbies and just getting off your phone for a while when they suddenly brought up "commonplace books" they keep...I didn't know they had a name for that, I was just calling mine a brain dump journal 😭😭😭 Gave me ideas for things to add to mine though!

Hours and hours later, I finished the crochet kit I got from the thrift store! It didn't come with yellow yarn like it's supposed to, so I substituted with the only yarn I have: rainbow. 😭 It's giving MASSIVE Lisa Frank vibes though. I absolutely love this despite the obvious mistakes I made!

It just makes me so angry that people can't properly parent/monitor their kids anymore, so everyone else has to pay the price just to make kids "safe" when it should up to the parents to do that. Parent your fucking kids properly.

Tbh it should be illegal for any website and/or organization to ask for ID unless they're official government business. It's incredibly dangerous to upload any sort of ID online, and I think it's a safety concern at this point...which is ironic because they're doing this for supposed "safety".

Anyways, if anyone has good alternatives to Discord, lmk. I doubt there's anything out there that even compares to it, but I'm just worried I'll lose all access to talking with my friends, so I want a back up.

So glad I cancelled my Nitro subscription. I'll NEVER upload my face let alone ID to a site that isn't like an official government body. Guess I'll just be restricted because fuck Discord.

We have an LGBTQ+ community center here and it turns out they have a HUGE library of gay books you can check out...like that's so cool. 😭 I spent a solid 15 minutes just browsing it. I might've snagged a few books too. 👉👈

I don't even watch or play football and I think I actively dislike it slightly...but here I am thinking about learning how it's played 😭 I'm just curious. Probably will never get into it to the point I'm a fan of teams, but I'll at least learn how to play it.

Welp. Today I learned you have to alternate the thread inside the magic loop in order for your loop to come out correctly when doing crochet 😭 Took me at least an hour to figure out why they weren't working. I'm so upset, this should really be teached because it's beyond frustrating 😤

Crochet project update: finished the main body and stuffed it! I also made the ears, but I haven't attached them yet. I imagine the details I have left will still take another couple of hours to finish, but I'm having fun. I just have headache and need to stop now 😭
