🎲 Did another #Kriegsspiel exercise with the Women's Wargaming Network tonight.
🗺️ Rather than a realtime tactical sim, I split them into three teams and had them run through the operational planning procedure and center of gravity analysis for an operational level scenario.

But all wargamers (especially professional wargamers) understand that there is more than just the kinetics. Command and control, morale, and even cognitive factors are tremendously important - yet are often given short shrift.

Okay so it's WWII trivial pursuit basically. If I made up a parody of a historical game I think Iron Cross branded competitive rivet counting would have felt too on the nose, but actually that's just a real game apparently.

Okay so it's WWII trivial pursuit basically. If I made up a parody of a historical game I think Iron Cross branded competitive rivet counting would have felt too on the nose, but actually that's just a real game apparently.
