“Will Trump break us?”
Mark Carney asked.

“No!!”
…the crowd answered!

Now is the time for leadership and a plan to make us as strong as we can be. Let’s choose to build and grow.

We are #CanadaStrong 🇨🇦🇨🇦

Grateful to St. Michael and All Angels for hosting tonight’s debate. People want real solutions & leaders who work together. We’ll protect 🇨🇦 jobs from Trump’s tariffs, double home construction, make life more affordable. Challenges are real, so is our plan for Toronto–St. Paul’s

Mark Carney in his own words: "There are people across the country who fear going to their synagogue. This has to stop."
A Liberal government will make it a criminal offence to block access to places of worship, schools and community centres—because protecting our fundamental rights isn't optional.
April 18, 2025 at 1:45 AM
Inspired by my grandmother Wanda’s example, I believe in looking out for our neighbours—especially seniors. With Mark Carney’s leadership, we’ll:

✅ Reduce RRIF minimum withdrawals by 25% for one year
✅ Increase GIS by 5%, putting up to $652 more in seniors’ pockets

Team Carney was out in full force at Yonge and Eglinton this morning. Great to join @lesliechurch.bsky.social, Vince Gasparro and their teams to speak with constituents from our three ridings. #Canadastrong.

Thank you Anthony Housefather for your endorsement.

I’m proud of the work we’ve done together— criminalizing Holocaust denial and pushing for safe access zones around schools, community centres, and synagogues. I will continue to advocate for a safer, stronger Canada!

Thank you to Rabbi Elie Karfunkel for the warm, thoughtful conversation at the Forest Hill Jewish Centre. We spoke about rising antisemitism—the need to ensure Jewish communities feel safe, supported, free from fear. Grateful to listen, learn & work toward a more inclusive future.

My path has always been shaped by a deep commitment to Canada and the values that bring us together. That’s why I’m stepping up now — to take on Trump-style politics and help build a stronger, more affordable future for all of us. Let’s get to work Toronto-St. Paul’s 🇨🇦

Today Mark Carney announced a serious plan to fight crime and protect Canadians—including new measures to confront the horrifying rise of antisemitism and hate.

Our communities deserve to feel safe. That’s why this plan increases funding for the Canada Community Security Program.

Delays on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT have disrupted lives, hurt small businesses, and held back our community for over a decade. Enough is enough. I'm calling for an inquiry. We need answers, accountability, and action to get transit projects like this back on track.

The Jewish community in Toronto-St. Paul’s has endured immense pain and fear since October 7th, witnessing a disturbing rise in antisemitism right here at home. This is unacceptable.

I have a clear plan to combat antisemitism and hate ⬇️

Trump's tariffs are putting the retirement savings of seniors in Toronto–St. Paul’s and across 🇨🇦 at risk.

A Mark Carney government will:

✅Reduce RRIF minimum withdrawal amount by 25% for a year

✅Increase GIS by 5%, adding up to $652 to seniors’ pockets

An electric rally with @mark-carney.bsky.social , meeting so many energized Liberals from across our city. His vision for Canada is exactly what we need—leadership that brings people together, not division and polarization.
