Finally becoming the artist I was always meant to be.
Much of my work in 2026 will focus on chronic Lyme disease.
I haven’t yet decided on a title for this one.

What is happening in this country? People kidnapped on the streets solely because of the color of their skin? If you agree with this policy, YOU, not the people you so wrongly fear, are the threat to this nation.

Stop the insanity. Embrace humanity.

I haven’t had much time to paint this new year, but I’ve managed to start this anniversary gift for a special couple. Paradise Bay on Lake George, oil on canvas, 16x20. A few more layers and it should be ready. Hoping next week I’ll get more studio time. 🤞🏼

Hero’s portrait is finished. I didn’t know him, but I know he was loved immensely by his people and that they are devastated by this loss. This gift won’t lessen the pain, but hopefully it helps preserve the memories of their time together.

My most recent landscape, painted in oils. It seemed like the right time for a snowy theme, so I chose an early winter view of New York’s Adirondack High Peaks, from Adirondack Loj Road. I’m so fortunate to live where I do!

Goggles
Two-year-old Charlie is a big fan of goggles and doesn’t save them for special occasions (like swimming). This portrait represents his personality so well - spirited, joyful, uninhibited. He’s a funny little guy.

Which of these two do you like better? I painted two versions of a storm off the coast of Puerto Rico. Curious which people prefer.
1. Minimal and calm
2. Heavily layered and intense

Couldn’t waste the oil paints still on the palette after yesterday’s alla prima session, so I did this one of Cap de la Nau on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. Now I have paint left over from this session. To be continued…
