Reports on Semenyo seem to ramping up, it’s clear the club really like him. I think he’d fix a lot of our balance issues off the ball, but is he capable of moving the needle against sides who sit back and create chances for our strikers? Not sure on the fit but love him as a player. #LFC

A crazy night for the U21s, from rescuing it at the death to a shootout involving both goalkeepers scoring. 17-year-old Josh Sonni-Lambie claimed his first goal contribution for the U21s - he’s now at 13 goals and 5 assists for the season so far.

Nothing weirder than of all these ex players with zero Liverpool connection saying the fans were wrong r.e. Trent. A ground of 61,000 people will make their own minds up without needing to be lectured by Jason Cundy or Roy Keane or Jill Scott or whoever.

Don’t overly care about Trent anymore — same way I didn’t about Suarez, Coutinho, Sterling etc — but that hostility is very much needed. Anfield is at it’s best when it‘s like that and definitely knocks them off their game.
