it really is hell having tiktok videos as your research subject/object

im here pulling an all nighter bc i have to write an article, take my phone into my hand to reference a video as im writing, and then it’s an hour later and i’ve completely forgotten what i was doing in the first place

busyness is such a terrible and useless state to be in, almost always counteractive to productivity

it’s also somehow a highly prized state in my family, can’t be a human of any value if you’re not busy, so for some time I tried to cultivate business in order to feel like my existence is valid

I’ve been outside for less than 10 minutes now and already received a small present, two photo requests and several genuinely pleasant and friendly compliments
I may have to wear a crown more often, it’s like an instant ice breaker!
