I hope the worst can be prevented - Dr. Angelika J. Budjan and Md. Abu Bakar Siddiq provided strong arguments on why we should cushion against the shocks of #aid #withdrawals.
In yesterday's seminar, our speakers, Angelika Budjan and Md. Abu Bakar Siddiq, discussed the consequences of abrupt foreign aid cuts and their impact on vulnerable populations. The session began with a poll asking the audience: “What do you see as the biggest long-term consequence of the cuts?”

It started as a short piece in summer 2021, which we planned to submit half a year later. Now finally four years later, our paper on Tracking #Chinese #Aid got published in #WorldDevelopment.
