I am grateful to the AAMC for the opportunity to tell my story…
In 2017, @lenmarquez.bsky.social got news no one wants: he had Stage 4 cancer. His odds were grim — just 6% with his diagnosis survive for more than 5 years — but after years of advanced care, he is now cancer-free. What saved him were specialists with advanced training in his disease.
