This week’s #crochet square: Sidney. We went to the Humane Society and picked up the oldest pup there. Sidney is 13 yrs old, blind and deaf, weighing in at 7 lbs. So the square is black & gold (Sidney), red for the pain he’s suffered, blue for surrounding love we give that good little boy.

Forgot the most important part of the red scarf I’m weaving…the weft is wool yarn from the Faroe Islands, the warp is 8/4 Maurice Broussard yarn. Yes, experimenting!

Completed 7 rows…yea! The gray squares at the top are the weeks before I began. Very colorful despite the gray. Only 2 more rows and 4 corners to go.

My darling 19-yr old pup, RickyBobby, is nearing his end. Breaks my heart. He’s the last of the “three musketeers”. Because of my age, Sweet Ricky will be my last dog. Huge emptiness for me, but he’ll be reunited w/Lucy & Sammy. & one day, I‘ll see them all again & will receive all the dog smooches.

This week’s #crochet square: Whale Watching. Stayed overnight at Port Angeles for my birthday. Read it was a good place for whale watching. This is my version of Narwhal School from excellent book, The Hooktionary. I had to start over 8 times & it’s a little bumpy, but I declared it done. Happy 73!
