My husband, dog and I are all barricaded in our front room of our Nashville home where our gas fireplace is. It was 53 degrees in our barricaded room when we woke up…39 degrees in our bedroom. And we are the lucky ones with a fireplace. It’s 9 degrees outside.

OMG. This is amazing. @aftynbehn.bsky.social is my current state rep but due to stupid GOP gerrymandering, I'm 4 houses away from being in District 7. I WOULD have voted for her...and I am still grieved about the deaths of Wallace and Omar. Can I at least get a digital apology?
