Grateful for those who are showing me clearly who they are. If there is anything good in this season, it is that. It is sad how far people will go to turn themselves into pretzels to defend racist, sexist, anti-LGBTQ behavior but at least it removes all doubt.

Local yokels are complaining that our county government was closed today for Eid al-Adha and calling it an affront to D-Day. One guy said "we can't take off for every new thing coming down the pike." They think D-Day came first. The lack of intellectual curiosity is astounding.
