Had my new coding notice today, it has no relationship to reality, the estimated income is unrecognisable to the income I have declared in previous. When it so wrong one wonders how it is estimated what a waste of time and postage

Considering the States recent record with IT the thought of putting airport parking online fills me with dread. Lets have no new IT projects until current ones are finished and more importantly work

An observation on the St Pierre saga. There has been a lot of reference to due process, what was made was a recommendation not a binding decision. A recommendation is not binding the recipient should consider the recommendation and decide if to follow it or not, due process in action

A question that springs to mind following the expose of the organised crime gangs operating on UK High Streets. Why is it BBC discovered this but the Police hadn’t, surely the resources to investigate of the Police exceed those of the BBC

I only hope the States spend as much time investigating the wasting of the £42million as they are currently wasting debating the suspension of deputy ST Pier. Let’s get our priorities in some logical order!!

With peace talks underway if by some miracle agreement is reached between Russia and Ukraine all sanctions against Russia will be maintained aggression deserves punishment

Could the deal with BA be worst case of self inflicted harm since the UK’s Brexit vote. It can only harm Aurigny which deserves support I only hope islanders choose Gatwick and Aurigny going forward

Having watched what has happened in the Philippines on the BBC news it saddens and disgusts me that climate change deniers like Trump and Farage can still command popular support and countries like India China and the US choose not to attend the COP30 conference

The Press states the it is a two horse race for Presidency of DPA surely it would be better characterised as a race between a horse and a donkey, there should be only one winner!!

When selecting a new president of Planning I only hope the States doesn’t choose to repeat the failures of the past. This committee is too important to be chaired by less than the most able candidate

I maybe in my seventies but to be at Trent Bridge the day Notts won the County Championship is very special feeling, I have been a member for years I followed them through thick and thin including the seasons when they didn’t win a single game, it was won by a team not by individuals
