Wildest thing about reading books on how to deal with grief is seeing in writing that other people fear dying.
I'm sad because my buddy is gone, not because I fear my death. The only thing I fear from my death is inflicting this kind of suffering on my loved ones. I am aware I will die eventually.

Grief is such a son of a bitch. I've been fine most of the week, but starting from last night to now it's got me in it's grasp so hard that it feels like my chest is full of murky stormy water.
