The only piece of clothing thats visible is his deep violet cloak which is lit on one side in gold/yellow light. Overall, he's lit in bright, dramatic light but the contrast is still low enough that all of the details in his face and hair can be deciphered. With a relaxed expression, he looks out the corner of one eye at the viewer, tears streaking down his face.

A mostly finished headshot of a winged character that has four sets of wings atop their head. The two upper sets are where ears would be and a bit above that. The two lower sets are positioned around the jawline and neck. Atop their head is a sloppily sketched halo. There is an eye on each wing, they look the same as the ones on their face. The halo is still just a sketch. There are still some sketch marks around the bottom of the bust and a color palette next to their head.

Soft hues of caramel and buttermilk are reflected in the calm waters of a Norwegian fjord. I first saw the potential for this painting driving along a road that bordered this fjord. I pulled the car over and scrambled down the bank, pushing my way through pine trees and undergrowth. When I got to the water's edge, I saw this perfect composition of curving waters and reflected cliffsides.
