In May of 2019, I came across the photo of an unnamed sex worker in Reading, PA, her name lost to history. I was totally captivated by her and, since her real story was unknown, I have her a fictional one. She became Molly O’Sullivan, heroine of my novel Molly’s Song.
I found the paperwork from when I adopted Olga from the shelter. It said her temperament was “mild.” I’m not sure Harvey agrees with that assessment.
