Annoyed I can’t just only ignore the opinion section in the Sunday Times now.

“Blooooo moon, we bought the league for a decade from a humans rights atrocity of a country”. Good stuff lads. Now please go away.

Haha, my god 😂

Wow, this is news? And only one premier league match report today, and no mention of the football league or FA cup. I’m done with this paper.

How dare you! I’m proud to live in Britian! (Took 5 attempts at auto-correct to write this, how incompetent are they?!)
October 6, 2025 at 4:25 PM
Sad day, but thank you Dorian!
September 5, 2025 at 9:41 PM
Yep, just skipped to the end to get to the poundland mekon good stuff and just assumed Dorian as not Ian! Apologies again 😂
August 31, 2025 at 7:41 PM
Oh, haha! For some reason misremembered as Dorian! 😂 Apologies to Andrew, excellent work. Will have a relisten later to refresh my 40’s brain

It’s like the last 3 mins

Wordpress Rasputin 😂😂😂

It’s the 13th November2020 edition of Oh God What Now, breaking news at the end, and although I still maintain Ian is the king it turns out Dorian was the one who was making me laugh (of course Ian’s laugh also makes me laugh)

It was an emergency Remainiacs podcast, I’ll try to find it. Cracked me up.
August 31, 2025 at 5:34 PM
I know this is by far the least important comment in this thread but gurning is a very underrated insult. Bravo to Ian, the king of insults! (I still listen occasionally to the podcast with Dorian when Cummings resigned, gold!)

Hope so, they are with Williams too basically the only sports stars that have stayed around my whole adult life and still competitive. So much entertainment.
August 31, 2025 at 2:29 PM
This is so true. Can you imagine Ronnie or Higgins having second acts like Davies and Hendry as very entertaining commentators/hosts? Of course couldn’t imagine it of those two at the time either because they were repressing their personalities. Fascinating sport

Haha, I have no opinion on this at all but happy to follow this vendetta from my favourite journalist.

Went to Eindhoven and it coincided with their national day. Was brilliant, given food and drink in the town square and when it was over the people we met took us to a nightclub. Standard stuff but then a full brass band came in and started playing rock covers. Don’t sleep on the horns!
August 29, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Yes, I think you have summed up why I find him so infuriating. If it wasn’t for Shipman I’d go nowhere near The Sunday Times now.
August 25, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Keep going Sam, your book was excellent and we need you in the discourse
August 23, 2025 at 3:53 PM
Can’t agree more. Only one team can win it and are Arsenal fans unhappy with what Arteta’s done? I don’t think so
August 23, 2025 at 11:20 AM
Thanks for the chat, nice to have a civil (and at least on your part) thoughtful conversation on social media for once!
August 22, 2025 at 10:38 PM
Haha
August 22, 2025 at 10:35 PM
Also have a look at Doaks injury history. You just have to look at in/out transfers to see we’ve not been optimal. Hopefully Mr Berta will sort it.
August 22, 2025 at 10:18 PM
Yeah, so this is my issue with spending big money on players at 27. Again, love the players and hope it works out
August 22, 2025 at 10:10 PM
Yep, and my sons first shirt! 😂
