So proud of #TeamWAST colleagues who provide our Wish Ambulance to end of life patients by volunteering their own time offering special moments to those with terminal illness and their families. Read more about the brilliant work they do here:

- Medical misogyny is leaving women in pain and conditions undiagnosed

- Women’s symptoms are dismissed, then they wait years for life-changing treatment and trauma-inducing procedures.

- Their conditions worsen and become more complicated to treat

Fantastic session from Rosie Harper on #digitalhealth tech, and Rebecca Neal on #womenshealth in changing climates.

Great to see advances in #midwifery and #physiological research, and begs the question, what #prehospital changes do we expect to see in this changing world?

It gets to a point when heads of trusts need to ask themselves: is it okay that our uniform doesn’t fit half of our employees properly and that they are having to pay to alter them or just buy themselves their own uniform?

If PPE doesn’t fit then it isn’t protective.

I had a fairly traumatic job recently, followed by an incredible patient whose positivity made such an impact on me.

And talking about it has made me realise that the public just aren’t aware how much they impact us.

Feeling very grateful right now ❤️

It’s statements like this that make me so grateful to provide free at the point of access care as an #NQP #Paramedic in the U.K. ❤️

I can’t imagine people not feeling like they can call purely because they can’t afford healthcare 💔
Imagine being wealthy enough to die in an ambulance
