I hadn't run a d20 system since I ran 13th Age for two years about a decade ago. I've run 40 sessions of 5e, it works fine, but. . . . ohmygosh I want more skills. MORE SKILLS. So, I am switching to Shard and adding skills from 3.5 into the rules.

So, when I run my campaigns I use Zoom, and use Otter.ai to transcribe the call. Then I edit the transcription and publish it for my players. This way, I can deliver deep, interesting conversations in character that the players can review at a later date to see what was discussed.

I’m going to use Bluesky to discuss my two tabletop RPG campaigns. My style might not be for everyone, but for those who love character development in their tabletop, I run a solid campaign.
