Dr Rhiannon Maniatt has delivered an online module today called Domestic Abuse for Practitioners. Today is the final day of the 16 days of activism against gender based violence and International Human Rights Day.

Samah Taylor, from Cardiff Bay, always dreamt of becoming a nurse but did not achieve the grades to gain direct entry to study the degree at Cardiff Uni. Samah graduated in 2025 with a degree in Nursing (Adult) after completing the Pathway to Healthcare. bit.ly/43Uhzbz

Today is Armistice Day

This is Mervyn Crawshay, son of Tudor and Maria Crawshay of Dimlands, Llantwit Major, and husband to Violet. He was a Captain in the 5th Dragoon Guards and one of the first to leave for France on active service in August 1914. He died at Messines, Belgium, on 31 October 1914.
